German Machine Tool Industry Order Bookings Climbing

In the fourth quarter of 2009, reports the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association), order bookings in the German machine tool industry increased for the first time in five quarters. Overall, orders were up 12% over the preceding year’s equivalent period. Domestic orders were down 16%, but customers abroad ordered 38% more. Details. |
