Delcam plc has extended its reseller agreement with DiTra Ltd. to also cover the sale and support of its FeatureCAM software line in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian company, a member of the TechnoLogica Group, was originally appointed a Delcam reseller in 2005. It had already established a visible position in the country’s CAD/CAM industry as a reseller of SolidWorks CAD software.
DiTra believes that the addition of FeatureCAM will complement its existing SolidWorks user base through the offer of a reliable, easy-to-use CAM solution. The company has received a positive response from customers and has already made some sales.
DiTra was founded in 1990 to help companies improve performance through the implementation of cutting-edge engineering technology. It has been a SolidWorks reseller since 1998. As well as supplying software to the Bulgarian manufacturing companies, DiTra has supplied software to all of the country’s technical universities.
Since appointing DiTra, Delcam business development manager Simon Docker has been very impressed with the company, particularly its commitment to providing customers with high-calibre training and support. Says Docker, “We anticipate a good level of sales among SolidWorks users that are looking for an easy-to-use, highly automated CAM system.”
