11 December 2008 Mold-Masters to Sell Direct in France
Mold-Masters has completed the purchase of its French distribution agency, a move designed to enable the hot runner product and service company to serve its growing French customer base through a direct sales and service office. “We are excited by the future opportunity to establish even closer direct ties to our customers in France and to providing even stronger technical and commercial collaboration,” says Jonathon Fischer, president and CEO of Mold-Masters. Taking over leadership of the French sales region as head of this new agency will be Fabrice Fairy. Fairy formerly worked for Mold-Master’s agent in France and has spent the past several years at Mold-Masters’ global headquarters in Canada, where he served in various technical management roles, including technical director. The existing sales and service staff in France largely remains, as Mold-Masters uses the established agent location as its direct sales and service office. This should allow for a smooth and quick integration of the agency into Mold-Masters so that customers will be at most slightly affected. Mold-Masters designs and manufactures advanced hot runner systems, temperature controllers, and complete hot half solutions. Its support network spans more than 40 countries.
