A ToolingDocs mold maintenance conference scheduled for August 2627 in Toronto, Canada, will stay on schedule despite recent concerns related to the SARS virus.
"Despite the risk of a few cancellations, we believe that it will be a successful program," says events coordinator Tina Knoll. "Toronto is one of the safest cities in the world, therefore business must go on." ToolingDocs, based in Chicago, is an on-line resource and conference organizer whose mission is to advance best practices in tool maintenance. Now in its third year, ToolingDocs has already held conferences in Massachusetts, Illinois, and Puerto Rico.
ToolingDocs will also be presenting part of the conference content at Tool & Mold Expo 2003 in Anaheim, California, this coming October (see www.toolmoldexpo.com). Tool & Mold Expo is organized by Access Communications North American Inc., publishers of Tool & Mold Making Product News. "Companies can benefit from a competitive edge that comes from better maintenance of their high-production molds," says Knoll. "Global competitive pressures make these conferences more pertinent than ever."
