CADKEY Corp. is shipping a free driver for use with the SpaceMouse® motion controller from 3Dconnexion® on its CADKEY Version 21 product line CD. The Version 21 product line includes CADKEY Workshop™, CADKEY Workshop EX, and CADKEY GraphX™. This is CADKEY's second major software release to utilize the company's all-new architecture.
CADKEY Workshop, the company's flagship product, is a complete free-form modeling solution that combines drafting, wire-frame, ACIS®-based free-form solid modeling, advanced free-form surface modeling, assembly modeling, and mechanical libraries into one product.
CADKEY GraphX 2D/3D is professional mechanical drawing software for drafters, mechanical design engineers and manufacturing engineers. It is ideal for users who do not need to design using solid modeling.
The SpaceMouse motion controller is a professional input device to view and interact with 3D objects in CADKEY®. It features nine programmable buttons, which a user can easily customize to his preference. These map keys can be programmed to standard keyboard functions or the device's sensitivity setting and motion controls.
