Interplas 2005 organizer Reed Exhibitions has announced that it will be creating three new specialist "Market Zones" for next year's Interplas exhibitionin the medical, packaging, and automotive sectors.
"Thanks to our early bird preregistration policy," says Interplas Marketing Manager Chris James, "decision-makers from automotive companies that include Bentley, BMW, Ford, Land Rover, Lotus and the Renault F1 Team have already signed up to visit Interplas 2005. These visitors have beaten a path to the Interplas door and are sending us a clear message: they're looking for innovation, they're looking for a competitive edge, and they expect to see it at Interplas."
The newly created Automotive Zone in Hall 5 will be Interplas's response, James says.
"The new Automotive Zone will provide a high-quality venue, with ambience, hospitality and plastics know-how transfer to match," James says. "It will raise the bar for the plastics automotive business that takes place at Interplas, and the Medical and Packaging Zones will do the same."
The three Market Zones provide the most value-added work available for plastics processors. "The primary purpose of the Market Zones," says James, "is to help attract the best possible visitors to the show. Once there, the specially designed areas will help them and their exhibitor suppliers to better focus on doing business in the most appropriate setting."
The physical space within the three new zones will be divided into exhibition areas, a high-quality restaurant, and a high-tech conference space that will be able to broadcast outside the 60-seat-capacity venue to a much larger audience across the entire show.
The emphasis for each Market Zone will be placed firmly on top-end customer attractions, quality hospitality, "must-see" conference material, and sector knowledge transfer. As James puts its, "We shall ensure that each new Market Zone is home to the leading edge in information and seminar content, covering technical, commercial and production know-how."
Each of the new Market Zones will be sponsored by a limited number of "champions" from the supply industry. These partners will be selected from companies in materials, machinery, ancillary equipment and services sectors.
Says Interplas exhibition director Ian Crawford, "For the right supplier, the Market Zones represent a clear 'must-have'" position within the show. Market Zone Partners will have a unique opportunity to stamp their exclusive brand on the industry.
"Such branding, association and future commitment will be remembered in the marketplace for years to come."
Interplas 2005 will be held in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, October 46 next year. A triennial event, Interplas is a showcase for all elements of the polymer industrydesign, materials, production, machinery, testing and quality control.
