24 September 2005 GTMA to Promote Supply Chain at Interplas
In the GTMA Village at Interplas this year, the Gauge and Tool Makers Association will once again showcase the British trade association’s focus on the importance of building robust supply chain networks to produce tangible business opportunities for its members. Interplas 2005, the international polymer industry event, takes place in Birmingham, UK, October 46. As an organization with a membership that spans the process spectrum from concept to component, the GTMA is ideally placed to act on behalf of the industry in forming supply chain networks and to gain access to purchasing-decision makers at the highest levels. It represents companies operating in the fields of toolmaking, metrology, precision machining, rapid product development, and tooling technologies. The GTMA supply chain network for the aerospace industry has already been launched successfully, with participants meeting senior staff from Airbus to discuss improved working processes. The association plans further networks for the medical, automotive, and composites sectors. Association members exhibiting in the Interplas GTMA Village include Acorn, Balzer, Braithwaite, CRDM, Cytec, Delcam UK, Diemould Service Co., DME, EDS Engineering, Europac, FSG Tool & Die, OGP, Roemheld, Sprint Tool, Superite Tools, Tritec, and Welwyn Tool. In addition, literature from Burcas, Open Mind, Rofin, and Sescoi will be available. For further information: Gauge and Tool Makers Association
